Speech Contest
What Is It?
This is a district wide competition. Each year the district announces the topic for the contest. The initial competition is held at the club level. The winner of the contest continues on to district competition.
The chairperson for the speech contest coordinates with the local high schools to arrange for students who might be interested in participating and introduces the students who will be participating at the breakfast meeting. The winning student is chosen by a panel of members and continues on to compete at the district level.
